iDEAL
When paying for your order, you can choose to pay using iDEAL. Click on the iDEAL payment button, and select your bank. You will be redirected to your own bank, where the bank transfer information will be ready for you. Your bank will ask you to provide some details and authorize the payment, and it will be debited directly from your account. We will then complete the delivery of your order. Pay attention that you do not close the payment window too soon, your payment will not be connected to your order and will not be delivered to you. If you think this has happened to your order, please contact us with a print screen of your back credit entry.
PayPal
If you want to complete your purchase using PayPal, you can, but make sure that there is enough credit on your PayPal account. If you choose to defer the payment, it can take up to 10 working days before you receive your order. It could be that you will get a deferred payment if:
-You are using PayPal for the first time
-Your credit balance is negative
-PayPal’s internal security prevents the payment
How to prevent a deferred payment?
Make sure your credits balance is positive. Go to www.paypal.com and upload credit onto your account. You will see the credit has been uploaded within 5 minutes or you can arrange that through your bank account and your credits will be uploaded within 1 or 2 working days.
Credit card
It is possible to pay for your order using your credit card. SURFspot accepts MasterCard and Visa Card.
Credits
Only available for UvA employees
You can enter credits at the 'pay' step. SURFspot will then immediately deduct the amount. If you cancel or return an order that has been paid for with credits, these will be deposited back into your SURFspot account during the return process. Credits are only available for the institutions that are eligible for this; the employees of these institutions have been informed of this.
Did a payment go wrong and is your order now listed as 'pending' or as 'canceled' in your order overview, and do you see the message 'already purchased' when you want to order the product again? Mail us or talk to us on the chat, and we can cancel this order for you in the system, so you can place a new order.
