After ordering, you can find a code and link in your SURFspot account. Use the link to create an Amberscript account or sign in, redeem the code and check that the purchased credit or subscription is available.
Activate Amberscript
- Sign in to SURFspot and open your Amberscript order.
- Copy the code and open the link to app.amberscript.com.
- Create an Amberscript account or sign in.
- Open the account menu in the top-right corner and select Redeem coupon.
- Enter the code and confirm.
- Check that the correct credit or subscription is available in your account.
Start transcribing
- Select the option to upload a new file.
- Choose the audio or video file and the correct language.
- Review the settings before starting transcription.
- Use Explore demo if you first want to see how Amberscript works.
The coupon does not work
Check that you entered the complete code without spaces and that it has not already been used on another account.
Personal data and privacy
Only upload files that you are permitted to process under your institution’s policies and applicable privacy law. Inform participants where required and do not share sensitive files through unsecured channels.
