Where can I find which version of SPSS I am using?

You can find the version number in SPSS itself. The menu path differs between Windows and macOS.

Find the SPSS version in Windows

1. Open SPSS.
2. Click on Help in the menu bar.
3. Select About or About SPSS Statistics (the exact wording may vary slightly depending on the version/language).
4. A window will appear showing the version information, for example:
   IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0.1.0 (142)

Find the SPSS version on a Mac

1. Open SPSS.
2. Click on SPSS Statistics in the top menu bar.
3. Select About SPSS Statistics.
4. A window will appear displaying the version information.
