Update 29 June 2026: an Interim Fix is available for SPSS Amos 32 GradPack Academic
A security issue has been discovered in the software that SPSS Amos uses to run. This only applies to SPSS Amos 32 GradPack Academic. The vulnerability is not in your Amos files, models or analyses, but in the background software. IBM has made a security solution available for this: an Interim Fix. It is important that you download and install this Interim Fix.
Why is this important?
Without this fix, a vulnerability remains in the software that could theoretically be exploited. IBM has confirmed this security issue and has made an update available for SPSS Amos 32 GradPack Academic. There is no solution other than installing the fix. What should you do?
- Check whether you are using SPSS Amos 32 GradPack Academic.
- Download and install the security fix for SPSS Amos 32 GradPack Academic. The download link and instructions can be found in our manual.
- Follow the steps in our manual.
No longer using SPSS Amos?
You can also fully uninstall the program from your computer. This will remove the vulnerable software as well, so installing the fix is no longer necessary.
