The message “Authorization failed. The Authorization Code entered is not for this product/version” means that the authorisation code does not belong to the installed SPSS version.
Compare the versions
- Open SPSS and find the installed major version under Help and About.
- Open your SURFspot order and check the SPSS version for which the code was supplied.
Resolve the mismatch
Does the code match your order but not the installation? Install the corresponding SPSS version. Did you order or receive the wrong product or renewal version? Then please contact us and provide the full error message.
A renewal serial number works only with the same major version already installed.
