How do I activate and install SketchUp?

After placing your order, you will receive an email from Trimble within two working days. Use this email to activate your Trimble account and access SketchUp Studio. You will not receive a separate licence code: the licence is linked to the email address used for your Trimble account.

Activate your Trimble account

1. Open the email from Trimble and select the activation link.
2. Activate your existing Trimble ID or create a new Trimble account.
3. Use the same email address at which you received the email from Trimble.

Check your SketchUp subscription

1. Sign in to your Trimble account.
2. Open My Products and check that SketchUp Studio - Annual Termed Contract is listed.
3. If the subscription is missing, check the email address and selected Trimble account. Then reopen the Trimble email and use the activation link.

Download and install SketchUp

1. Open My Products in your Trimble account.
2. Find SketchUp Studio and open the included applications.
3. Download the current SketchUp installer for Windows or macOS.
4. Open the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
5. After installation, start SketchUp and select Sign In.
6. Sign in with the same Trimble ID linked to the subscription.

No email from Trimble

Check your spam or junk folder and search for Trimble or SketchUp. If the email has not arrived after two working days, contact us.
